38 Weeks and Counting

All the doctors are in amazement that I am still carrying these babies. Normally they have to fight to keep them in. Now they, at this point, are living in too much of a comfort zone, so we need to take them out of the oven.

Went to the doctor today, still nothing has changed, so Monday the 17th is the date for the enduction!!! It is nice in a way to know ahead of time to be prepared, to not have to race to the hospital, etc..etc.. On the other hand it is kind of scary that I know and it is a little nerve racking to know which day all the pain will happen. Especially since this is our firsts, we don't know what to excpect.

I am still praying that they keep the knife away from me and we can do this naturally. Although, I might change my mind after a while. Just pray for us! Thanks!!

Thank you also to all those who prayed for my good friend Ginger. She had her first little one, Jack Henry, yesterday afternoon. I don't know the details yet, she can call me in her time.

PS. This is a terrible picture of me, especially since we were just outside picking weeds out of the garden. Nathan actually did the weeding I just pointed them out.

Love you all!

37 Weeks!

I am now officially term. These babies are so crowded inside, but according to the doctor they are perfectly happy in there. She said my cervix is still nice and normal, no changes. She measured my belly this morning and said I am measuring 42 weeks now. The babies are probably somewhere around 6 pounds each now. (Guess those premie clothes are going out the door). Dr. Pitson is on call next Wed the 12th and on Mon the 17th. One of these two days the babies will be here. I guess is depends on how crazy the hospital is or according to my next check up next Tues.

The Boys Nursery

I am pretty much fininshed with the nursery. It is so weird to have the extra bedroom that is usually filled with a bunch of junk have a purpose!

The Milestone Has Come! 37 Weeks!

Hello Everyone,

We are Shane and James. We are getting ready to come out of our mommy. It isn't too hard to stay head down at this point, so more than likely we will be delivered through the dark tunnel. Yes, our heads may look semi-coneheaded afterward, but that will fix itself in time. We can't wait to see what our daddy and mommy look like. We wonder if they will be silly looking or cute. It might be hard to adjust to the light and all the people passing us around. Our parents shouldn't really worry about us crying all the time. Crying is for whimps, we will only whimper if we have a wet/poopy diaper or if we are hungry since we can't express ourselves any other way.

Some of the tricks we can do now this week is make a tight fist, breathe on our own and kick mom in the ribs repeatedly. We are more than likely about 6 pounds each and are maybe about 19-20 inches long each. We can go home after two or three days in the hospital. We are soooooo crowded in here and can't take it anymore.

I think our mom and dad went to see Superman yesterday. We really liked the music and hope they buy the sound track. Well, we won't keep you any longer, we need to start kicking our mom. She needs to get off the computer and put our room together.

Love,

Shane and James Ream
